Fabienne

Fabienne Anthamatten is a hostess with heart and soul. Growing up in Zermatt, she has been helping out in her parents’ inn since she was a child. Since 2017, she has been carrying on the family tradition and skilfully combines the tried and tested with new, courageous ideas.

Hobbies: Mountains - in winter and summer, preferably with my loved ones

Bernadette aka Mum

Bernadette is part of the second generation and is our big joker! She cooks the fine homemade soups, the various jams and carefully spreads the raclette cheese every Tuesday evening. In short, still the good soul of the house!

“It gives me great pleasure to make a small contribution to the well-being of the Bella Vista guests with my homemade specialities and to support my daughter in the business.”

Hobbies: family, hiking, baking

Stefanie

Since autumn 2018 Stefanie, Fabienne’s younger sister, has been part of our team. She is a receptionist, guest manager and yoga teacher all in one.

“I like working at the Bella Vista because I can give our guests a feeling of home together with a strong team in the traditional business of my family.”

Hobbies: yoga, hiking, travelling, being in nature

Tamara

Tamara has been with us since winter 2020/21 as a receptionist. She has been living in Zermatt with her husband Giuseppe and their three children for a few years.

"I like the homely atmosphere at Hotel Bella Vista. It's a fair workplace and it's fun to work with the small, nice and warm team."

Hobbies: skiing, hiking, Italian cooking and eating

Rahel

The young woman from Zermatt has been part of our team since the beginning of the winter season 2021/22.  She can be found at the reception desk, where she is happy to give tips around Zermatt.

"The small yet charming team always brings a smile to my face. You know you are in good hands and I want the guests to feel as comfortable as I do."

Hobbies: Skiing, travelling, music

Janine

Janine is - like all the others in our team - a stroke of luck! She has been working in our team as a receptionist since December 2023.

"I've always found contact with people super exciting. After a few years in service, I'm really looking forward to gaining new experience at reception and introducing guests to beautiful Zermatt."

Hobbies: Enjoying family and friends, skiing

Alexandra

Alexandra from Portugal has been living with her family in Zermatt for a long time and has been in our team as a chambermaid since 2002 (!).

"I appreciate the varied work and the team spirit, that’'s why I’'ve been working in the Hotel Bella Vista since 2002!"

Hobbies: Sewing and walking

Vera

Vera from Portugal has been with us in the team since 2009. She works in the breakfast service, manages the dishes and bakes the fine sweet delicacies for the buffet.

Evaristo

Evaristo has been working for us as a porter and all-rounder since December 2019.

Cátia

Cátia is a young, friendly Portuguese woman who joined our housekeeping team in December 2022. She takes care of cleanliness in the whole house.

Hobbies: Travelling, while I work I travel through books

Silvia

As a native of Unterland, Zermatt was actually intended as a stopover, that was 38 years ago :-) Today we can count Silvia among our breakfast team.

"I am very happy to work in the beautiful and friendly Bella Vista and team!"
